Kids Are Central

At Central Lutheran, we believe that Kids Are Central and we have a team of dedicated adults who ensure that faith formation and fun are combined in the many activities we offer for our younger members. Mission

Kids Playing The mission of Central’s children/youth ministries is to nurture and help Central’s Kids to grow in faith and in their relationship with God, one another, and all creation, so that they may engage fully in the life, mission, and ministry of the church.

Confirmation

Classes meet twice monthly with the Pastor. Throughout the confirmation journey, students learn how to engage in faith questions in new ways so that at the end of this process they will have the tools to live fully as adult disciples and followers of Jesus.

Sunday School

Most Sundays throughout the school year
Youth Sunday School (6th grade and up) meets at 9:45am in the Sanctuary basement.
Younger ages meet at 9:45am in the Parish Hall
Ages 3 through Kindergarten meet in the Potters classroom
- 1st and 2nd graders meet in the Weavers classroom
- 3rd ,4th and 5th graders meet in the Carpenters classroom
- Please join us for fun and friends every Sunday throughout the school year. We share stories from the Bible, make crafts, and eat snacks in our classrooms.

Near the end of Sunday School, all the classes gather together in the Fellowship Oasis for singing and storytelling. Youth

Our active and growing youth group is for students from 6th through the 12th grade. They meet every week for Sunday School, and have regular events throughout the year. Here are just a few recent youth events: '
