Central Lutheran is offering Hybrid Worship
Central Lutheran is offering hybrid worship on Sunday mornings at 10:00 am ~ you are welcome to join us in-person or remotely via Zoom.
Join us for our Ash Wednesday service February 18 at 7 pm ~ in person and via Zoom
During the service there will be the imposition of ashes and Holy Communion. For those of you joining us via Zoom, the simplest way to impose ashes will be for each household to provide their own ashes. The suggested ways to provide ashes are as follows:
Ash from charcoal briquettes
Ash from a snuffed-out candle
Soil from the earth
You do not need much for the imposition. At the time of the service when the imposition takes place, I will say the words, "Remember you are dust, and to dust you shall return," make the sign of the cross on your forehead. If there is more than one person participating in the household, designate one person who will impose the ashes for everyone. If possible, repeat the words, "Remember you are dust and to dust you shall return." That decision to do so is up to you.

Mark Your Calendars: Lent 2026
The Season of Lent begins with Ash Wednesday on February 18, 2026. We will gather for worship with confession, the imposition of ashes, and Holy Communion at 7:00 pm at Central Lutheran. Zoom worship will be available via www.loveiscentral.org/worship.
During this Lenten season, we will join with University Lutheran Church and Immanuel Lutheran Church for midweek worship:

Central Lutheran In-Person Sunday School
Welcome to Sunday School, kids of all ages are welcome: 9 am - 9:50 am, Sunday mornings. Lessons! Projects! Snacks! We meet upstairs in the Parish Hall in a fun kid space. If you can’t attend every week, we are happy to welcome you when you can; bring your friends!
