Maundy Thursday ~ April 2, 6:00 pm (Note the New Time!)
Potluck Dinner Church
(In person only/no Zoom option)
On this night we remember how Jesus gathered his disciples around a meal we now call the Last Supper. We too will gather around a meal and move into a solemn worship service. “Maundy” comes from the Latin for “commandment,” and this night we recall Jesus’ commandment to love one another as we follow his example in washing each other’s feet and join his feast of life in Holy Communion. This service includes corporate confession, individual forgiveness, foot washing, and concludes with the stripping of the altar.
We will begin and end in the sanctuary but will process to the fellowship hall for our potluck dinner.
PARKING LOT NOTE: The parking lot will be open for all attending the Maundy Thursday service from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Before and after these times all drivers must pay or display a parking permit.
